This hack uses a bashscript and apache's time dependent rewriting function to deliver a random image directly from a directory, no php, no nothing.

This workaround enables processing applications to run on a linux machine with no graphical user interface e.g. a server.
The early idea was to create personalized posters for email invitations
instead of sending around jpg files. The idea got skipped, we sticked to
an ascii announcement and finally ended up with the jpg file.
